Estuary Lodge Motel

We booked our mini UK break last minute and came across this absolutely beautiful little place. Rooms are delightful with such beautiful little outside seating areas. Beds super comfy and room had everything we needed. Including a little tea coffee station mini fridge with eater and milk in and microwave if needed. Bathroom was clean and had shower/shampoo gel and conditioner and hand wash. Room also had a safe and hairdryer and fresh clean towels. The best part for us wasnt the room even though it was perfect, It was Donna the owner she is the kindest and most helpful person and helped us plan our trip why here for sightseeing and choosing the best places to go, we had an absolutely amazing time. The breakfast was amazing, cooked exactly how we'd asked, lovely and fresh and all served with Donna's suoer friendly smile. We will absolutely be back if not for fhe adventure but to see donna again it was a pleasure to have met her. 10/10 stay

We arrived early and were very kindly let into our room which was very well equipped and very comfortable. As it was sunny we were able to sit out. The breakfasts were very good indeed and the staff extremely helpful.

Found this gem quite by chance & what a find! Booking was very easy via their website. On arrival went straight to the room which was spacious and spotlessly clean. Felt comfortable straight away. They only cook breakfast which consists of a variety of cooked items,bacon,sausage etc along with toast. No cereals are offered but that didn't detract from the overall experience. The food is obviously freshly cooked. During breakfast you can order your requirements for the following morning. Donna & Sylvia were extremely efficient and friendly without being overbearing. It felt like we had been going there for years! The location is ideal for exploring Snowdonia area including the railways,Portmerion Halech etc. and we spent a few hours on the lovely beach at Tal-y-Bont. The premises does not cater for children or animals which was a bonus for us but I could see that this would put families off. Overall an excellent few days and I would recommend without hesitation. Although they don't provide a restaurant service,there are a plethora of restaurants/pubs/cafes within a short drive (less than 10 mins)that offer very good food. Thankyou to Donna & Sylvia.

We took a 3 day break to explore North Wales and decided after much looking to book our stay at the Estuary Lodge Motel. We really cannot praise Donna highly enough, she is the perfect host and wants guests to be treated as she would expect to be treated and this shined through in every aspect of our stay. On arrival the parking is directly outside of the room, there was no need to check in, just unpack and settle in. The room (5) all en suite, was immaculately clean and very well appointed with a fridge, microwave, tea coffee and hot chocolate and the best shower I have ever used. A very comfy kingsize bed ensured a good night sleep. Breakfast was excellent, the menu offers a range of alternatives, Donna was there to welcome us and the service was exceptional. We both had the full breakfast which was perfectly cooked, very tasty and set us up for the day. The Motel fully deserves the high scoring reviews and we would definitely stay there again when visiting. Thank you Donna for a wonderful stay and for making it so pleasant. What a fabulous find Dubious at first as not familiar with motel stays but wow. The room was immaculate and very spacious, bed very comfortable and everything you could need including microwave and fridge. The location was convenient for travelling around and there were lots of places to eat in the small village and close by. Donna and her family and staff were perfect hosts who couldn't do enough for us and all the other guests. Breakfast spot on for those who like cooked food. I would have enjoyed porridge or fruit but did enjoy a lighter breakfast of cooked egg and toast so all good. Nothing to improve at all and will definitely recommend and revisit. Don't change a thing Donna and Jarrod.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My stay at the lodge was absolutely fantastic! The breakfast was exceptional—worthy of a MasterChef spotlight, with fresh, delicious options that started our days perfectly. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and so comfortable, especially the king-size bed, which guaranteed a deep, restful sleep. The convenience of parking right outside our lodge made everything hassle-free, no lugging suitcases around! Donna, the host, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and her warmth made us feel so welcome. The entire staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall charm of the place. I can’t fault a single thing about our stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend this gem!

It was a wonderful stay. Donna greeted us upon arrival and clarified the provided dietary requirements. Her attention to detail leaves nothing to chance! The breakfast provided was amazing - locally sourced and cooked to perfection. We even visited Donna's butchers and went home with a month worth of food. The room was exactly as advertised in terms of size and comfort and immaculately clean and well thought through. Donna was also spot on with her suggestions of places to see in terms of pur preferences and interests. I can confidently say that our holiday was so perfect largely BECAUSE we stayed at the Estuary Motel. Thank you Donna and the team. We are definitely returning next time!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Estuary Lodge Motel, we have stayed there on quite a few occasions over the years, Donna is the perfect host, nothing is to much trouble for her, and her staff are excellent. Rooms are very clean and spacious, breakfasts are scrumptious! The only problem was we weren't staying there long enough. Thanks again Donna. Colin and Sue Lord.
